Northbrook Container Leasing was established as a lessor and manager of bulk containers in September of 1992.  NCL is primarily involved in the leasing of IMO 1 and DOT 51 tank containers for the transportation of food stuffs and chemicals. Additionally, Northbrook Containers, as an affiliate of Northbrook Rail Corporation, designed, developed, tested and patented the first International Standards Organization approved, non-tipping pneumatic dry bulk container. In October of 1995, Northbrook Container Leasing was purchased by John J. Toth from Northbrook Rail Corporation. John has over twenty-five years experience in the transportation field as both a shipper and lessor of railcars and intermodal equipment.
